This season’s hair is all about fearless self-expression—think undone textures, rebellious shapes, and nostalgic nods to early 2000s cool. From icy platinum crops to dusty grunge layers, these looks redefine winter hair with attitude and artistry.
Platinum Blonde

This hair embodies a fresh, modern edge with a distinct nod to early 2000s skate and pop culture references.
For this bold, modern look, I began with a full scalp bleach, carefully lifting the natural pigment to achieve a clean, ultra-bright platinum blonde. The result is a crisp, luminous tone that catches the light beautifully, offering a striking contrast against Oliver’s skin tone.
To complement the colour, I executed a precision crop—a slightly textured short haircut with a soft fringe, giving it a fresh, editorial edge. The cut is tight around the back and sides, with more softness and movement left through the top to create dimension and shape. It’s effortlessly cool, with subtle nods to classic androgynous styles.
Method:
Diane lifted the hair using RedKen Flashlift and 20vol .
Finishing with a global toner with RedKen Shades EQ 10P.
The effortless bob with an attitude
This look channels a distinctly undone, cinematic cool—effortless yet intentional. The hair was cut into a bob that hits just above the shoulders, with a slightly irregular edge to keep it from feeling too polished. The ends were softened to add movement and break up the silhouette.
To complement the cut, we kept the colour natural and raw—embracing the model’s lived-in, sun-warmed tone with minimal intervention. The texture was created by rough-drying and enhancing the natural bend with light tongs, then finishing with dry texturiser through the ends to give it that slightly gritty, second-day feel.
The result is a modern bob with a rebellious edge—less about symmetry and shine, more about attitude.
Method:
Diane used REDKEN Colour Gel Oils 8G with 6%, finishing off with 10WG RedKen Shaed EQ gloss.
Point cut and blowdried with signature k-blow dry and applying try texturiser
Everyday Rock ‘N Roll
This look is all about moody texture and effortless rock-and-roll glam. We cut into the shape to build lived-in layers that encourage movement and natural separation, focusing on creating a shag-like silhouette with softness through the crown and a piecey, unstructured perimeter. The face frame is key—long curtain bangs open up the face while connecting into the layers for a seamless, undone feel.
We embraced the model’s natural texture and enhanced it with Redken Rootlifter, diffused to amplify grit and give the hair an after-hours energy. The finish is deliberately raw.
The result is a modern, sultry grunge that doesn’t try too hard—perfectly imperfect and full of attitude.
Method:
Darkened hair with Redken colour gels 6gn and 3%.
The end were then lightened with Parisian Hairpaint using RedKen Flashlift and 30vol
A creative toner was then applied, with Redken Shades EQ 6abn at the roots and Redken Shades EQ 9T at the ends
to give that dusty smoky feeling.
Diane then did a razor cut and gritty styling using RedKen Rootlifter.
Pink Edge

The hair in this image embodies the essence of rebellious youth culture with a high-fashion edge. A striking platinum-pink hue takes centre stage, glowing under the vivid neon backdrop and amplifying its futuristic appeal.
The colour reads almost electric—cool yet soft—with tones that shift between cotton candy and chrome depending on the light. This multidimensional shade, paired with a choppy, textured cut, creates a vibe that’s effortlessly undone yet undeniably intentional. The soft layering adds movement, while the casual side-swept styling delivers attitude without trying too hard. Altogether, it radiates the confidence and cool of someone who sets trends—not follows them.
Method:
This was a full classic weave of highlights using Redken Flashlift and 6% with a base breaker clear 6% application in between.
To add the pink, we used Pravana ‘pretty in pink’ for toning.
